Adventure Riding in South America Episode 7
After reaching Lima, I was finally able to replace the crash-damaged parts of the Tenere and fit some much-needed fresh tyres. With the bike all sorted, I struck out north towards Ecuador. I was keen to see some of Peru’s north-west on the way, so made a plan to ride some remote tracks along the rugged coastline. From tricky early navigation to discovering a perfect dune campsite above the Pacific, exploring windswept coastal towns, and getting lost in an oilfield, the ride really delivered the fun and freedom of adventure motorcycle travel.
